Hello there! My name is Ritu Talapatra. I am a mother, a self-taught baker, a dreamer… a believer of a better tomorrow. I have always wanted to be that self-dependent woman with a well paying corporate job and an identity of my own. But motherhood makes you reconsider your goals!

It has been amazing being a mother to my six years old princess. She has also helped me find a goal. Growing up eating cakes made by my mother in her simple electric oven I always wanted to take it to the next level. Today after hours of practice and toiling (read failed attempts) I can proudly call myself a cake artist. Through this blog, which is my second child, I am going to share my work with you all. My posts will also help you find out if a baker is hidden inside you.
